Students In China Had More Mental Health Issues After Covid-19 School Closures

A new study, published in JAMA Network Open, found that children and adolescents reported significantly more psychological problems after the Covid-19 school lockdowns. 

As of April 2020, governments closed schools in almost all countries due to the pandemic. This meant more than 90% of students were out of educational facilities – in the U.S. alone that meant 55.1 million students were stuck at home after approximately 124, 000 schools closed.
