Since the beginning of the pandemic there’s been a lot of talk about which dietary supplements and vitamins can help reduce the risk of Covid-19 or treat the virus. 

Headlines and celebrities talked about how supplements like vitamin C, zinc, green tea and echinacea boost the immune system and protect against the virus. 

But while dietary supplements can help to support a healthy immune system, whether specific supplements might be associated with a lower risk of catching SARS-CoV-2 isn't really known.
